Game Recap

Saturday the Falcons would be on the road for the second day in a row as they traveled to Rennselaer Central to take on the Bombers. The game would be decided by the team that had the fewest miscues in the field. There would be a total of only 5 hits between both Frontier and Rennselaer. Keegan Stevens got the start for the Bombers only allowing 3 hits and cooling off the Falcons hot bats. He was unable to keep Frontier off the bases with his defense committing 6 errors in the game. Those 6 errors would give the Falcons enough baserunners during the game to push across 5 runs and give them enough momentum to steal a win from Rennselaer. Starter Sam Kriebel and Reliever AJ Hall would combine for a 2 hitter and 3 walks to keep the Bomber hitters off the bases. AJ, Sam, and Tyler Prior would get the only hits for Frontier. Sam Krieble would hit the loan Double and get an RBI.

Frontier would run its record to 11-3 on the season and will take on a busy schedule next week starting with an away game with Twin Lakes on Tuesday @ 5pm. The Falcons will then finish the Tie game Wednesday with Carroll @ 5pm before the JV game. Thursday will be a home game with Benton Central @5pm and Friday South Newton at Home @ 5:30pm. Friday’s game will be our Rec League day. All Rec League players will need to be at the field around 5 pm to get ready to take the field and be announced at the beginning of the game. Look forward to seeing everyone at the games.
